Highlights From Runway FW16

From front row seats to backstage access, we’ve teamed up with the Hive Studios to bring you the highlights of Runway FW16.

The upbeat fashion crowd of Hong Kong dressed to the nines and swarmed the Hive Studios on Friday evening for FW16 edition of Runway – Fashion Show, Catwalk and Market Bazaar. Along with spectacular musical performaces, dance performances, and artistic live drawing, it will be an evening of Fashion Shows, Catwalk and Market Bazaar by Hong Kong’s best up and coming labels and designers. Emerging fashion designers presented their latest collection in some catwalk action including; CUFFS, Raven + Rose, Mörling, Miss Runner and Mint Escape to name a few.

During the show, Fashion Illustrator Sew Sketchy had the prime spot at the end of the runway and used this to make beautiful sketches live of the outfits worn during the show. The show concluded with a captivating dance performance by I AM in collaboration with Miss Runner.

By the end of the night, it was clear that Hong Kong has a thriving fashion startup scene. In fact, it’s obvious the city hosts plenty of up-and-coming designers to keep an eye on.
