As the festive season beckons, soak up some culture as the year draws to an end at Bangkok’s Thong Lor Art Space.

If you’re looking to spend Christmas in the winter sun, then Bangkok’s warm weather makes it the ideal holiday destination. The city is packed with choices for shopping and culture; not to mention an exciting nightlife. If you’ve got an hour or two to spare, then why not soak up at one of the many great exhibitions at Thong Lor Art Space?

In collaboration with The Japan Foundation, Japan’s only institution dedicated to carrying out comprehensive international cultural exchange programs throughout the world. Thong Lor Art Space transforms its entire floor into an art installation by acclaimed Japanese duo Yoshihiko Hayashi and Yusuke Nakano. The exhibition titled ‘The Play: Space Drawing’ features an array of industrial pipes, blue plastic rails and toys which somewhat resembles a construction site. Each part on display has been meticulously considered by the artists to connect with guests on a much deeper level.

Space is an area that an artist provides for a particular purpose, it could be a place that full of inspiration or a place that need someone to share their imagination, providing an art space for everyone who have a passion or interest in art pieces. At the art space, you can share your creation with us or with others.
