Hong Kong-based ARTA TechFin partners with Asia’s largest digital asset platform, OSL of BC Technology Group, to deliver virtual asset solutions to global institutional and retail clientele.

Hybrid FinTech (HyFi) platform specialising in both traditional and virtual assets (VA) backed by New World Development‘s Adrian Cheng, ARTA TechFin has partnered with BC Technology Group‘s digital asset business division OSL to create an end-to-end VA financial services ecosystem.

Asia’s leading public FinTech and digital asset company, BC Technology Group’s OSL is the world’s first insured and SFC-licensed digital asset platform.

Still awaiting required regulatory approval, the strategic partnership has been formed to offer a full spectrum of VA solutions, including origination of asset-backed security tokens, secondary trading of physically-settled and cash-settled VA spot and VA derivatives, and custody of “over-the-counter” (OTC) and exchange- traded VA. Aligning with the Hong Kong Government’s VA policies, ARTA TechFin and OSL will work to develop the city as a global VA financial centre.

Eddie Lau, the Chief Executive Officer of ARTA TechFin, commented, “This game-changing partnership gives birth to an institutional-class total VA solution that serves global institutional and individual clients. Hong Kong’s progressive VA policies lay a strong foundation for us to take advantage of this unique opportunity. We are committed to supporting the development of a vibrant VA ecosystem in Hong Kong.”

ARTA will be appointing OSL as the placing agent for its security token offerings in Hong Kong for primary market origination, with their corporate finance team taking the lead on tokenisation, technology services, deal sourcing, and fundraising. OSL will also be appointed as ARTA TechFin’s exclusive partner for secondary trading and through their omnibus account model, will support ARTA’s end-clients with institutional-grade performance VA trading and safe-keeping facilities.

“We are thrilled to enter into this strategic partnership with ARTA. We look forward to servicing the digital asset trading and fundraising needs of ARTA and its clients. This partnership will allow us to leverage our expertise in the digital asset space to drive growth in the fintech industry,” added Hugh Madden, the Chief Executive Officer of BC Group and OSL.

Both headquartered in Hong Kong, ARTA and OSL are ideally situated to jointly develop ecosystems bringing VA access to institutional and retail clients across the globe. Through local regulatory measures, HyFi services can be seamlessly integrated to evolve the next generation of better liquidity, product variety, and security.
