Meet Clip, a new player in the aviation supply market for airline customers with a focus on smart solutions onboard.

Founded in September 2015, we recently spoke to Cindy, the brains behind Clip to find out about the features.

Can you tell us about your background?

I am a Chinese-American with a Swiss passport and a degree in Marketing. I moved to Hong Kong in 1995 and have lived in France, Belgium, Qatar and Hong Kong is really my home sweet home! Clip was founded in September in 2015 and we are a new player in the aviation supply market.

What triggered you to start Clip Onboard Solutions?

Having worked in the aviation supply industry for almost 20 years, I decided that it was time to start a new company. So I put together a business plan, found an investor, reached out to outside creative partners and the rest as they say is the future in the making for Clip.

What is Clip OnBoard?

Clip is a new, young, dynamic creative force. Our design partners are from an award winning design studio from outside the industry who bring a fresh perspective to the business. They see and do things differently from those of us who have been in the business for a long time.  Because the design team is a creative agency first, their way of working is amazingly fast.

Speed to market in creating solutions and having designs and prototypes turned around quickly is paramount to our business model. We have demonstrated this in some of our key projects where we were able to provide 3D models to clients to show how our designs look and feel and were even tested to see whether it was fit for purpose.

What are the features?

Clip offers an extensive range of innovative inflight products that includes full concept development in First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class for all items, whether it’s pyjamas for First or plastic service ware items in Economy or tableware products for Business.

We offer design, development, delivery on everything from disposable to comfort products to crew service items and amenities.  We have the skills and expertise to design and develop chinaware, stainless steel, glassware and crew service products from a holistic approach.
