With an eye for fashion and a background in marketing, college friends Naphaschaya Kanjanasomkid and Pattranit Puapongsakorn created Little Tim & Mr.Postman in 2014. “We started by choosing what to sell and design to attract a new audience like bucket hats, bags, and blouses. At the end of the day, we thought we could bring these iconic elements to embroidery to make people feel inspired whilst wearing the item,” explains Naphaschaya.

So, why the name Van Gogh and Magritte? As highlighted by Pattranit, “Both of the artists inspired us how to live and think. Despite a miserable misfortune, Vincent Van Gogh never gave up on the beauty of vivid colors. René Magritte’s surreal art always made us think twice. He reminds us that there are always 2 sides to every story.”

With almost 10k Instagram followers, the brand has expanded out of Thailand by co-operating with several online platforms which contributed to the growth rate last year.

“I think the fundamental factors that make the brand’s success is the uniqueness regarding the details and gimmick designs. We are now focusing on stronger art direction and of course, customers relationship,” explains the young designers in a cheerful tone.
