German-born Yanick Targonski launches TRAVLMIND, a leather bag company with a focus on durability and style for commuters on the go.

From the company’s fledging stages in 2015, much of Yanick’s long-term strategy will focus on evolving ideas that stay true to TRAVLMIND’s travel-focused DNA. Perhaps part of Yanick’s outlook on the creative process comes from his free-spirited background. He spent years working in Switzerland, China, Thailand and the UK before launching his eponymous label. After spending 8 months on several designs, Yannick officially launched in early 2016.

You could argue that most bags are versatile in design, but in the modern era of fashion- versatility is the key. Most of the bags are designed to be an all in one to fit your laptop and your daily necessities. No longer do we need to carry a separate work bag and gym bag for commuting around town.

TRAVLMIND’s mission is to provide high quality leather goods with simplistic, minimal design that last a lifetime. Since leather can be expensive, TRAVLMIND prides itself in providing bags at a reasonable price here.

Their products are mainly rooted in the German design traditions focusing on Superior materials, durability and style. All the bags are made of full grain vegetable tanned leather, coupled with sturdy solid brass hardware.
“Each TRAVLMIND bag is designed to let the leather speak for itself. Over the years, vegetable tanned leather develops a rich patina. Each mark you pick up along your journey will tell a story that makes each and every bag unique.”
