The Peninsula Hong Kong
A long-standing tradition in Hong Kong, The Peninsula boasts of some pretty stunning decorations around this time of the year. Standing tall at the heart of the grand lobby, head on over to check out the intricately-decorated Christmas tree, and sneak in a photo or two while you’re at it.
For those of you with the little ones, this will surely double down as a family affair with the central theme of the year’s festivities being Stories From The Tree. The live story-telling session centres around The Peninsula’s very own digital storybook, “The Red Robin’s Enchanting Journey”, promising to take you on a virtual globe-trotting Christmas journey. If you’ve got the budget to spare, we also recommend looking into its astounding array of exclusive dining experiences to wrap up what could be a truly magical Christmas.

Lee Tung Avenue
Lee Tung Avenue makes for a beautiful photo op at any given point of the year, so you can expect this walkway to be the talk of the town this Christmas. Acclaimed, home-grown visual director, Victor Wong and artist Josh Tang have been roped in to bring this year’s theme to life: Butterflies of Hope. As an impressive 22-metre stained glass butterfly towers over the atrium, complemented by 300 odd AI butterflies scattered across the boulevard, Lee Tung Avenue is definitely a sight to behold.
It also can’t be Christmas without a Christmas tree and the organisers have spared no effort in making this a display to remember – replete with Christmas jingles and light shows to round up the experience.
