The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Danang, Vietnam, has released an action-packed events calendar for its 2023 Summer Festival. From July to September, visitors can indulge in a wide range of immersive experiences, including special guest appearances, workshops, family activities, live music, and more.
Food enthusiasts are welcome to delight in the Nam Tram Dining Journey, which will take couples on a romantic culinary experience aboard the resort’s cable car, accompanied by a four-course meal served as they ascend through different levels. InterContinental’s Barefoot’s Beach BBQ & Bonfire and Champagne Brunch at Citron offers another relaxing weekend dining destination.
Moreover, the renowned multi-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire will be making a special appearance to showcase the new menu at La Maison 1888.
Art lovers can look forward to joining exclusive experiences hosted by Bill Bensley, the resort’s architect and designer. Bensley will also be leading a three-day workshop, “Discover Your Inner Artist,” where participants can learn and engage in art classes. Guests can also visit the BENSLEY Outsider Gallery, featuring original artworks and custom jewellery by Australian designer Kate McCoy. The gallery’s proceeds go towards charitable causes, including wildlife conservation.
For those focusing on their wellness this summer, the InterContinental Danang will be offering Sunrise Yoga classes at the Yoga Pavilion and Sound Therapy sessions at the Mi Sol Spa. The resort’s wellness professionals also organise monthly Energy Zen Retreats, encompassing a full-day itinerary of meditation, yoga, fitness, tai chi, and more.
There will also be a wide range of family activities including Kids’ Outdoor Adventures at the Planet Trekkers Kids Club which will educate children about local wildlife such as endangered red-shanked douc langurs, Pickleball, the world’s fastest-growing racquet sport, at the resort’s Sports Centre, Vietnamese Cooking Classes at Citron, and Epic Ice Cream Adventures at the L_o_n_g Bar.
In the evenings, the resort’s cinema will screen classic and blockbuster movies throughout its Summer Film Festival.
Music enthusiasts can unwind with Sunset Jazz at the Buffalo Bar, where the Hat Jazz Band performs live every Friday, creating a serene atmosphere on the sea-facing terrace. Additionally, M Rouge offers karaoke experiences for those who enjoy singing their hearts out.
