As the finance sector shifts towards embedded finance, KMPG has announced that they will launch the first Embedded Finance Hub (the Hub) in Singapore to drive its adoption across the region. The Hub will offer incubation support to both non-financial and financial institutions seeking payments, blockchain, lending, insurance, and wealth solutions.
Set to operate for at least two years, the Hub aims to support over 120 enterprises through sharing best practice knowledge, venture acceleration support, and collaborating. Involved companies will be able to work with KPMG’s financial services experts to co-create digital assets to drive the development of payments, gamification of finance, decentralised finance and platforms.
The Hub will also be open to startups to trial their embedded finance innovations and network with its wider ecosystem, laying a foundation for future data-enabled innovations.
