Enoch Ho is the Founder and the creative genius behind his womenswear label Berayah. Based in Hong Kong, he’s one designer to watch out for.
Berayah in Hebrew means “God has created” and in one designer’s life, it means the pursuit of his dreams. Enoch Ho, a Parsons School of Design graduate, is better known as the creative talent behind his label Berayah since 2013. Enoch’s design are modern and minimal with a focus on clean lines which are that are ultra-wearable – making his pieces instantly recognisable.
One visit to Berayah’s pop-up shops across town, you will repeatedly hear delightful cries of “it has pockets!” coming from the fitting rooms. Enoch’s designs are not only beautiful to the eye, but also highly functional. Gone are the days when women need to choose between style and practicality. It may take a while for ladies to get used to wearing a dress without having to hold their phones and wallets in their hands, but it is a convenience no one wants to give up.
While Berayah has been a women’s label, they have recently added unisex tote bags to the brand. Both tote bags feature innovative yet simplistic tweaks to the traditional tote bag, increasing convenience significantly for the wearer without compromising on style.
Stylish yet highly functional, the designs speak more than mere pretentiousness – an accurate reflection of who Enoch is.
