Pirata Group’s newest concept, seaside Italian panetteria and gelateria, Pane e Latte opened this weekend in Stanley.

Pane e Latte is Italian for “bread and milk,” comfort foods that recall nostalgia and warmth. The demand for artisanal and high quality baked goods in Hong Kong is growing steadily. Pirata Group’s introduction of Pane e Latte fits this demand well, offering daily fresh oven-baked goods and delicious treats in sunny Stanley.
Beautifully designed to match the quality of its baked goods, the panetteria and gelateria offers a harmonious fusion of tradition and chicness. This creates the experience of a traditional Italian bakery juxtaposed against global cafe culture. Visitors are greeted with a long, marble countertop, upon which they may browse and take their pick from a dazzling. display.
As the flagship location of the Pane e Latte brand, situated opposite Stanley’s seaside front, the restaurant connotes the colourful, cliffside homes in Positano, on the Amalfi coast. Hallmark striped beach parasols are substituted with domed window awnings and pillow covers in memorable pastels.
All day long, from breakfast to Aperitivo, guests can experience a forever evolving counter of artisanal breads, pastries, cakes, pizza al taglio, and focaccia sandwiches. Italian coffee, wines and cocktails are among the beverages on offer.
