Global startup competition She Loves Tech returns in 2022 and is now open for applications from women-led and women impact startups.
Founded in 2015, She Loves Tech (SLT) is the world’s largest competition and accelerator programme catered to women-led and women impact tech startups operating across over 70 countries. Coming back for its 8th year, the She Loves Tech Global Startup Competition 2022 will span five months supporting women in tech through community, mentorship, education, and investment.
SLT aims to bridge the funding gap for women, and their 2022 competition aims to spotlight and fund tech startups from around the world with at least one woman founder or majority women consumers or end-users. The competition will be lead up to the She Loves Tech Conference, an annual thought leadership summit where thoughtleaders, changemakers and entrepreneurs will gather in Singapore ahead of its final championship round.
“This year, every SLT finalist will have an opportunity to receive direct investment from SLT fund and potential co-investments from our affiliate funds. Teja Ventures will continue to support She Loves Tech, which we have done since 2019,” shared Virginia Tan, the Co-founder of She Loves Tech and Founding Partner of Teja Ventures.
Over US$500,000 in funding will be available for innovators including up to US$100,000 direct investment from the She Loves Tech Fund, US$15,000 from Teja Ventures, and US$10,000 from Asian Development Bank Ventures (ADB). Mentorship channels will be introduced from leading investors and tech influencers along with fast track access to programmes, resources, and in-house advisory services. Participants will also gain access to a global community of founders and investors and global media coverage.

SLT seeks out and accelerates the best entrepreneurs and technology for transformative impact, aiming to unlock over US$1 billion in capital by 2030 for women-led businesses.
Applications for Singaporeans are open until the 14th of August, 2022, whilst Thailand, Vietnam, and other SEA countries’ deadline is the 21st of August, 2022. Hong Kong and Japan applications are due on September 1st, 2022 and Australian startups may submit by the 12th of September, 2022. Details for other countries may be found here.
