Sino Group’s The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is the first hotel in Hong Kong and mainland China to be awarded with WELL™ v2 precertification.

Sino Group announced last week their new The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong has received its WELL Precertification under the WELL Building Standard™ v2. It will be the first hotel in Hong Kong and mainland China to receive this precertification, a milestone achievement recognised by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This precertification is awarded based on a project’s intent to implement health and wellbeing strategies that will be third-party verified upon completion, aligning well with the Group’s continued work towards creating more sustainable wellness spaces across their developments.

The WELL Building Standard is a performance-based certification system stemming from seven years of rigorous research and development working with leading physicians, scientists, and industry professionals. The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel achieved WELL precertification based on its design intents within ten categories of building performance: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community.
