Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture, M+, is opening online reservations tomorrow for admission starting from Friday, the 12th of November, 2021.
M+ museum is opening in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District to the public next Friday, November 12th, 2021. Ahead of the contemporary visual culture museum’s opening, online reservations for admission and registration for free opening programmes will be available from 10am Friday, 5 November, 2021. Furthermore, M+ is offering free admission to all visitors to exhibitions (except for special exhibitions and events) for the first twelve months after its opening date.
After a previous announcement that free admission would be offered to Hong Kong residents with valid identification, M+ has extended this offer to all visitors following vast interest from the public.

The online reservations will assist with facilitating smooth admission for visitors, starting with the museum’s first two opening weeks, from 12 to 28 November 2021, on the West Kowloon website, M+ website, or through the ‘West Kowloon Cultural District’ mobile application.
Due to overwhelming support and anticipation for M+’s opening, the museum strongly recommends all visitors make reservations ahead of their visits and arrive at the museum within their designated time slot. Walk-in visits may still be possible but are subject to availability. Children aged six or below accompanied by registered visitors do not require a reservation.
M+ members and patrons will be able to enjoy unlimited year-round access to the museum, and will not need to place an online reservation before visits, and can present their membership cards upon entry to the museum building. M+ also welcomes the public to join its membership and support the development of the museum through sponsorship, donations, and patronage.
For details on online registration arrangements, opening hours, and opening programmes, please visit the M+ website or call (+852) 2200 0217.
