Alex Malouf’s Kennedy Town neighbourhood favourite Australian-style seafood and weekend brunch spot, Catch, opens new location in Sai Ying Pun.
After 8 successful years, Australian Alex Malouf’s two Kennedy Town neighbourhood favourite restaurant concepts, Catch and Mama Malouf, are moving locations. Australian-style seafood and popular brunch spot Catch, has moved to a new location on Second St in Sai Ying Pun.
A few minutes’ walk from Sai Ying Pun MTR station, with elegant and chic interior design, Catch’s new location is perfectly situated to attract walk ins and long time fans alike. With a welcoming ambiance and an exciting menu, Catch Sai Ying Pun is a must visit. With a larger and more open space than its former Kennedy Town location, Catch offers great opportunities for hosting events, from celebrations to casual get togethers.
Serving up Catch classics and new flavour concepts, Catch Sai Ying Pun’s menu spans from a delectable Curly Kale salad with spinach, sunflower, pearl couscous, poppyseeds, Goji berries, and tahini goddess dressing and Trout & Potato salad with dill, edamame, cherry tomato, and lemon-garlic dressing, to a scrumptious Duck Sandwich with smoked duck, sauerkraut, mayo, mustard, sourdough, and enoki mushroom and Spicy Crab Pasta with angel hair, garlic, chili, and lemon zest crumbs. Other mouthwatering items include the Charred Corn Risotto, Fried Jumbo Prawn Risotto, and Jerk Chicken.
Brunch treats include the Dirty Eggs with paprika potato gems, sunny side eggs, spicy mayo, melted cheddar, kidney beans, and avocado, Fancy French Toast with candied peach, coconut & berry cream, shaved almond, and white chocolate, and Big Bad Ben with poached eggs, hash browns, avocado, bacon, chorizo, hollandaise, and harissa.
Both Kennedy Town locations closed at the end of October this year, and Mama Malouf’s new address has yet to be announced. In the meantime, Mama Malouf will continue to offer catering services, so if you are already missing the restaurant’s heartwarming Lebanese menu, have Mama cater your next event.
