After Hours Remedy where the only doctor in Hong Kong Landmark to make his patients grin at Dr Fern’s Gin Parlour. Themed after a Victorian-age doctor’s office, this speakeasy is a perfect hideout for after hour drinks in Hong Kong.

When it comes to finding a quick remedy for stress, there appears to be a number of bars that claim to have the best alcoholic concoction. Trendiest of them all is ‘Dr Fern’s Gin Parlour’. Themed after a Victorian-age doctor’s office, this speakeasy is a perfect hideout for after hour drinks.

Hidden inside the Landmark, this cocktail haven is more than just a gin bar. Step inside and the first thing you’ll notice is the intimate settings and the dark wooden cabinets of glistening bottles with its extensive liquor library. They stock a generous choice of gin with over 250 types, as well as a variety of caffeinated beverages which are sure to give you the energy needed to kick start your night.

Considerable thought have gone into the liquor selection, so why not ask the doctor to create a drink based on your taste buds? Gerry Olino’s white coat and fluid bartending skills are a sight to see, and his expertise in mixology and rhythmic cocktail shaking is a performance in itself.

Before gin became a prized possession of the alcohol industry, it was a herbal medicine. Dr. Fern remains loyal to gin’s botanical roots by embellishing their cocktails with fresh garnishes picked from their garden. The bar prides itself on attention to detail – once cocktails are poured over ice, they are completed with small but crucial details, such as sprigs of rosemary, shavings of orange zest and lemon peel twists.

Bored of the same old gin and tonic? Visit Dr. Fern’s on the weekend to sip on their classic Negroni whilst listening to smooth sounds played by their resident DJ.
