Hong Kong’s Pirata Group is set to debut its newest Spanish concept, Calle Ocho, mid-January in Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay, as its first major venture in the new year.
The Group enters the new year by celebrating the establishment of its first major F&B project of 2023. Its newest multi-storey tapas restaurant and bar is located in the heart of Causeway Bay, in Fashion Walk, spanning over 2,500 square feet of space and 130 seats. Ideally situated, Calle Ocho overlooks Victoria Park, offering visitors stunning views and delightful Spanish fare.
Calle Ocho will become Pirata Group’s 25th venue in Hong Kong, and 27th global location.
The newest venue is designed by Pirata Group’s in-house team. Its vibrant space welcomes guests with a beautifully tiled facade and curated art pieces, creating a unique Iberian-inspired dining stimulation, while delivering the jovial ambience of Spain’s historic Madrid de Los Austrias neighbourhood.
Leveraging his extensive culinary expertise, Chef Víctor designed the restaurant’s exquisite menu brimming with an incredible variety of delicious fare. The dishes are assembled with the freshest ingredients and sterling technique, packed with bold and rich flavours, and will leave you coming back for more.
Calle Ocho’s menu is derived from Spain’s vibrant food history, serving everything from tapas, Pan con Tomate, to the exquisite “Uni-Cone” featuring tuna tartar crowned with sea urchin. Customers can pick from their selection of appetising delights, authentic Spanish wines, and sumptuous sangria variants while dining in at the vibrant venue.
Pirata Group’s Chief Executive Officer Steen Puggaard shared, “Pirata Group is still committed to the local dining scene and has a lot to offer to Hong Kong and to our guests. We are kicking off 2023 with Calle Ocho and there are still many more excitements to come.”
Calle Ocho will officially open its doors to the public mid-January 2023 for reservations and walk-ins.
