Central Market is a newly renovated and refurbished wet market in Hong Kong with great historical significance, featuring several stalls and food options for visitors and locals alike. It has been revitalised under the “Conserving Central” initiative of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) to preserve this 80 year old historic building. The concept for the space is centred around “Playground for All,” a joint venture between the URA and the Chinachem Group.
The location features a fusion of Western preferences, alongside local and traditional fare, ranging from Hong Kong-inspired alcoholic beverages, and Cantonese cooking, to homemade Italian food, and French pastries. Central Market is the destination for foodies and culture connoisseurs alike.

Perfume Trees Gin
Perfume Trees Gin is a local Hong Kong distillery that captures the essence of this city. Mixologists and founders Kit and Joseph Cheung have created gins with aromatic, evocative botanicals, like gardenias harvested in the New Territories. The distillery has joined forces with Nina Hospitality to launch its first gin bar on the ground floor of Central Market, where special gin cocktails are served up offering a truly elevated Hong Kong experience.

Mak’s Beer
Mak’s Beer is a local brewery and purveyor of fine beers founded in 2014. The brewery takes inspiration from local ingredients, like sugar cane and longans. At Central Market, Mak’s Beer will provide a large variety of their craft beers on tap, as well as showcasing their first beer cocktails. In addition, the shop serves bar snacks ranging from burgers to charcuterie and cheese platters to pair with their delicious beverages.

Winelog
In addition to the beer and spirits found at Central Market in Hong Kong, Winelog is here to provide you with a delicious wine tasting experience. Described as a “wine-appreciating venue,” Winelog was developed in collaboration with the Hong Kong Wine Judges Association (HKWJA), who have curated award-winning labels ranging from old world and new world countries. The wine bar consists of fifteen seats where tasting flights are offered, as well as custom experiences to learn more about and enjoy various wines.

Cittá is a season-driven Italian restaurant featuring fare from the Genoan region. Their no-frills food is unpretentious and hearty, with authentic cooking and homestyle meals. LottaJoy is a kitchen that celebrates the core values of Chinese cooking – togetherness and unity.
