Hong Kong’s Green Common celebrates Mother’s Day this year with a special collaboration with Essentia by Holger Deh and the launch of a new weekend semi-buffet brunch at their Nexxus restaurant.
Enjoy a plant-based Mother’s Day celebration this year with Green Common‘s new seasonal delights. In a special collaboration with plant-based pâtisserie Essentia by Holger Deh, a Mother’s Day Plant-Based Cake series has launched. Green Common Nexxus has also released a weekend semi-buffet bunch menu, with a free-flow sparkling wine option for a delicious vegan and boozy weekend.
Founded by award-winning pastry and former Area Executive Pastry Chef (Asia) at Rosewood Hong Kong, Chef Holger Deh, Essentia is a sustainable eating concept, where all vegan pastries are made with natural and healthier plant-based ingredients. Through Chef Holger’s skill and expertise, his beautiful creations exude elegance without sacrificing taste or texture.
Essentia’s partnership with Green Common introduces four flavours, including the sweet Raspberry & Bellino, Vanilla Mille Feuille, Rocher, and Black Forest.
Chef Holger shared, “I am glad to work in collaboration with Green Common, our motto is Modern Patisserie Evolution to a Natural and Healthier Future, which perfectly echoes Green Common’s mission and vision. It means a lot to me as I have chosen this path to be more responsible for our environment, pass down a hopefully better world for our next generation.”

Green Common’s flagship concept in Central, Hong Kong is launching its Weekend Semi-Buffet Brunch Menu, introducing a wide range of innovative vegan dishes. Guests will be able to enjoy 90 minutes of free-flow appetisers, including the Guacamole Dip Salad, Chicken Satay Skewers, andKorean Crispy Cauliflower. Main course choices include the Smoked Wellington, Crispy Omni Seafood Bao with Fries, and OmniPork Tonkatsu Dan Dan Noodles. For dessert, guests can enjoy a plant-based Daiya Cheezecake or Seasonal Fruit Tart.
Visitors looking for a boozy brunch to ring in the weekend with can top-up their menu for free-flow sparkling wine, with two vegan-certified sparkling wines available- Sparkling Sweet Moscato “So Easy”, with sweet floral and lychee notes, and Dignitat Cava Organic Brut Sparkling, with delicate bubble, sweet floral and yellow fruit jam notes. Non-alcoholic free-flow options are also available.
Starting from April 15th, 2022, Green Common Nexxus’ Weekend Semi-Buffet Brunch Menu is available from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays. Online Reservations can be made online now.
