HK Express announces new Hong Kong to Singapore flight service which will launch in February 2022, marking the airline’s entry into the Singapore market. 

Starting on the 1st of February, 2022, HK Express will be offering direct flights to Singapore on a weekly basis. This marks the expansion of the affordable airline’s network to 15 destinations from Hong Kong.

HK Express will be the fourth airline to offer nonstop flights to Singapore, which will fly weekly on Tuesdays via an Airbus A320 aircraft.

That’s why it has long been a popular choice for travellers,” said Mandy Ng, the CEO of HK Express. “Whether our customers are visiting Singapore for business or to visit family, HK Express will provide a safe and seamless experience every step of the journey. We anticipate a steady stream of demand for travel on this route once travel restrictions ease.”

The new flight service will provide a more affordable option for essential travellers during this pandemic period as HK Express continues to expand its network across Asia and enable more accessible travel for Hong Kongers.

Cathay Pacific is set to increase Hong Kong-Singapore flights up to eight times daily by early February which combined with HK Express’ new service will expand this route from around 12,000 two-way seats in January to over 40,000 by the week of February 7th.

HK Express ensures the protection of customer health through the implementation of several layers of precautions, including HEPA filters onboard, enhanced cabin sanitisation measures and adjusted meal services, along with additional safety advisories.The airline maintains a “7-star safety rating” and is recognised by as one of the world’s top ten safest low-cost carriers (LCC). A member of the Cathay Pacific Group, HK Express has flown over 19 million customers since converting to an LCC.
