The HKCEC’s restaurants are releasing new pink menu items this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution.

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC)’s F&B team is continuing their annual support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year through a series of pink food items, available now until the 31st of October. Aiming to educate visitors and encourage them to support this important cause, all proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution campaign.

In October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) launches an annual campaign. The organisation encourages all to RISE together to raise awareness and help uplift women in need. The NBCF has been working for the past 30 years to support women through educational programmes, screenings, and providing resources and access.

Four restaurants within the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) are joining hands with Pink Revolution to raise breast cancer awareness.

Congress Plus and Harbour Road Café‘s “The One” is headlining this campaign, an alluring lychee and rose flavoured sponge cake filled with a delicious rose champagne agar, strawberry ganache and berry mousse, garnished with gold-dipped raspberries and white chocolate swirls (HK$300 for 1 pound or HK$42 for 1 piece). They have also released a “Pink Snow Ball,” a whole fresh strawberry and mixed berry crunch cream filling in a mochi (available for HK$42).

The HKCEC is also raising breast cancer awareness at their Atrium Chinese Restaurant, which has developed a Steamed Crystal Rose Scallop and Shrimp Dumpling (HK$60), with an equally delectable vegetarian option, their Steamed Crystal Rose Mushroom Dumpling (HK$60).

And for those looking for a local snack, the HKCEC’s Harbour Kitchen‘s tasty Strawberry Hong Kong-Style French Toast (available for HK$48), adding a generous dollop of strawberry syrup onto the golden crispy French toast.

With a long history in Hong Kong, and a well-established venue for exhibitions, conferences, and many other notable events, the HKCEC is a landmark in the city owned by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

For additional ways to RISE to the occasion and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the NBCF is calling for all to rally in screening, serving, and supporting everyone. Through donating or taking their educational eBook Quiz, gain more knowledge of breast cancer and access to relevant health resources. The organisation is recruiting virtual volunteers as well as inviting those interested to hold fundraisers online or on Facebook.
