Runway Asia is back, teaming up with HK Model Camp for its 9th season in 2023. This event celebrates local designers, self-confidence, and unique fashion, featuring a curated marketplace experience and a lively after-party.
The fashion world is buzzing as Runway Asia makes a dazzling return for the Autumn/Winter 2023 season, in partnership with HK MODEL CAMP (HKMC). Now in its ninth iteration, this iconic event is set to deliver an unforgettable evening celebrating the limitless creativity of local designers, the empowerment of self-confidence, and the sheer artistry of fashion.
Christopher Lau, the Regional Country Manager of Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam at The Flexi Group, has called this upcoming Runway show its largest and most ambitious to date. He shared, “This year’s event promises to showcase the incredible homegrown talent shaping Hong Kong’s dynamic design scene while also promoting eco-conscious practices. I cannot wait for everyone to experience the energy and spirit of Hong Kong’s vibrant artistic landscape all in one place at our biggest Runway yet.”
Runway Asia is more than just a fashion show; it’s an invitation to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and style. In alignment with HK MODEL CAMP’s ethos, the event also seeks to empower individuals to embrace self-confidence. By combining modelling with self-esteem development, HKMC encourages people to conquer personal challenges and believe in themselves.
Adding an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the evening, Hong Kong-based dancer, content creator, and influencer, Anisha Thai, will be headlining the sensational intermission performance with her newly formed dance crew, the Mixies.
Runway Asia isn’t just a fashion showcase; it’s a launchpad for emerging designers and fashion startups to shine brightly. Beyond the catwalk, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a vibrant marketplace featuring a curated selection of unique and creative vendors. This draws influencers and industry leaders, offering these talents the opportunity to reach a broader and more diverse audience.
Attendees can present their wristband or lanyard for complimentary admission to the exclusive after-party at Quality Goods Club before 11 PM.
