Rising from rising blockchain trends in Asia, the 2022 edition of Singapore Blockchain Fest brought together industry leaders, FinTech professionals, emerging startups, and crypto enthusiasts to Marina Bay Sands.
Following a successful Blockchain Fest by Finexpo in Greece in May 2022, the Asia edition of this hallmark event for the crypto community occurred June 2nd to 3rd at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. One of the most highly anticipated blockchain events in the region, Singapore Blockchain Fest brought together leaders from DeFi, mining, payment systems, crypto spaces for a hectic two days of networking, conferences, and everything blockchain.
Visitors gained access to exclusive networking lounges, expo spaces, conferences, and workshop halls to represent themselves and get to know other professionals in the crypto industry in a casual environment that enabled them to grow their network. Notable speakers from Snowflake, Revolve Games, Cake DeFi, and many other industry players joined the event to share key insights on DeFi, the future of digital currency and assets, governance & law, decentralised blockchain protocols and smart contracts, NFTs, and Meta.
Speaking on the future of blockchain, Singapore Blockchain Fest’s panel of experts included Zennon Kapron, the Director at Kapronasia, Jack O’Connor, Sales Director – ASEAN at Snowflake, Mike Chiam, Founding Board Member of the Asia Blockchain Association, Lawyer – PDLegal LLC Advocates & Solicitors, and Dr. Julian Hosp, the CEO of Cake DeFi.
In an insightful panel on women in blockchain, Belinda Lim, the Co-founder of Avarta, Soh Wan Wei, the Founder of the Ikiguide Metaverse Collective, Megan Lee, the Founder & CEO of Regtank Technology Pte Ltd, Ida Mok, the Founding President of Women in Blockchain Asia (WIBA), and Shu Hui Choo, the Founder and CEO of Bedrock joined the conversation on the importance and potential of women’s inclusion in the crypto space.
The latest latest crypto trends and hot topics were also discussed during the conference, welcoming an open dialogue between regulation authorities, businesses, developers, and startup representatives. Unifying leaders from all sides of the industry, Singapore Blockchain Fest successfully initiated key conversations and networking opportunities, unlocking the potential of crypto.
