Raise a Negroni for Charity: Campari and Imbibe Present Negroni Week 2021

Campari is partnering with Imbibe Magazine for the 9th year in a row to host their global charity event Negroni Week 2021. Continue reading for Hong Kong’s Negroni Week events and raise a glass for charity!

Italy’s Campari and Imbibe Magazine kicked off their 9th annual Negroni Week on Monday, the 13th of September. Take part in this global charity event until the 19th of September, and celebrate the iconic Negroni Cocktail, a mix of Campari, gin, and sweet red vermouth, while giving back. With an exciting list of bars in Hong Kong taking part, and a host of charities involved, Negroni Week 2021 is the perfect excuse for a night out after work.

Campari and Imbibe empower bars, restaurants, and retailers to fundraise and give back to the community, all whilst enjoying a signature Negroni. Marking Negroni Week’s 9th year, the event has raised over US$3 million for charity in more than 70 countries, for a wide range of good causes.

This year, Campari is collaborating with 7 of the world’s best bartenders to create unique Negroni fusions, one for each day of the week, and calling for bartenders worldwide to be inspired. Negroni These bartenders include Erik Lorincz, Fabio La Pietra, Giacomo Giannotti, Luke Whearty, Bannie-Kang, Tiffanie Barriere, and Tommaso Cecca, who will all be innovating and adding their own personal touch to the Negroni.

In Hong Kong, participating bars include local favourites ARGO, Veda, Sugar East Hotel, Apothecary, and Ozone as well as listings on Asia’s 50 Best Bars: COA, Tell Camellia, DarkSide, The Wise King and Penicillin.

The week opened with “The Negroni Week 2021 Opening Party: Italian Affairs” at Duddell’s yesterday. Artesian will be hosting a Negroni Workshop on Thursday, the 16th of September, Smoke and Barrel will be hosting a “Negroni Week BBQ Brunch,” and The Diplomat will be closing off the week with a “Night of a Thousand Negronis” on Sunday, the 19th of September.
