HealthTech firm One Bupa introduces Hong Kong to the future of technology and healthcare through an immersive and interactive “Healthcare 3.0 Concept Hub.”
Holistic healthcare provider One Bupa launches a “Healthcare 3.0 Concept Hub” in Central, Hong Kong, introducing the city to “the future of technology for a healthier tomorrow.”
Healthcare has come to the forefront of global attention, heavily impacted by the ongoing pandemic. In this new normal many startups and concepts are arising to fill this gap, with many businesses in Hong Kong innovating in smart healthcare technology (HealthTech) and the dawn of the “Healthcare 3.0 Evolution,” placing an emphasis on patient-centric, highly transparent, interactive, personalised, and equipped approaches to heathcare.
Spotlighting the transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and mobile apps enabling the future of healthy living, Hong Kong’s first HealthTech hub will be spotlighting “The Future of Health & Technology” from September 27th to October 9th, 2022.
Spanning two floors of healthcare innovation, the exhibition will showcase the latest HealthTech, services, and applications from Hong Kong and around Asia. Three dedicated health zones- the “Everyday Health Fun Zone,” “Future of Medicine Zone,” and “Preventative Care Zone,” will enlighten guests on the significance of smart healthcare.
One Bupa’s AI retinal screening “Eyelnspect” technology will be showcased, which can detect up to 139 underlying eye, health, and even cardiovascular problems, as well as offer timely medical advice.
Visitors will also be able to take part in a digital art therapy game developed in partnership with Hong Kong-based mental health NGO Coolminds where they can express their emotions with colours and words.
Hong Kong’s virtual bank, Livi Bank, will also on site to offer information on account openings to introduce the community to accessible payment alternatives for medical care.
An all-in-one smart digital clinic will enable visitors to complete a body check delivering real time results and electronic records they can share with their own healthcare providers or at their next virtual consultation. Enlightening guests on the future of medical robotics, surgery room simulation game “Dr. Roboto” will educate guests on the logistics of an operation theatre.
One Bupa’s “Healthcare 3.0 Concept Hub” will also feature digital and interactive games, introducing visitors to the “Healthy Metaverse,” where they will be able to redeem their own Health Hero NFT, which will be automatically stored on the world’s first NFT mobile wallet released by Hong Kong-based Web 3.0 startup DTTD– which is powered by blockchain game company Animoca Brands.
Rounding up the event, a Health Market x Professional Panel will be bringing together industry-leading speakers and health conscious brands to host talks and educational workshops.
