Named after Tokyo’s upscale nightlife district renowned for its gado-shita, epitomising the local restaurants that are lined up under railroad tracks Yurakucho pays homage to local “watering holes” through its retro-inspired interior, decorated with dimly-lit naked lanterns, quirky wall art and other installations, along with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to unwind and dine-in.

Singular Concepts’ CEO, David Sit, commented “Gado-shita are lively drinking spots that have been open since the 1950s in Japan. We want people in Hong Kong to experience those vibes transporting them in the Shimbashi or Yurakucho districts of Tokyo to loosen up after a long day of work.”

Its well-curated menu takes inspiration from the “hidden food streets of Yurakucho,” designed by Head Chef Vickly Mau, who hails from decades of experience in traditional Japanese fare, serving special yakitori dishes, their signature karaage, along with other small platters including Garlic Butter Edamame, Katsu Sandos, and plenty more.

Additionally, Yurakucho’s live robatayaki kitchen is helmed by culinary specialists, delivering expert gastronomy and an authentic front-row experience to customers.
