The Hive held the first round of Soundboard in Bangkok in preparation for Soundboard Asia 2017.
On Wednesday 28th September 2016, the Hive held the first round of Soundboard in preparation for Soundboard Asia 2017, a startup competition which runs among 3 locations (Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore) and in hope of winning USD 25K at the grand final.
This will also be a time where entrepreneurs can meet and network with each other at all stages; from aspiring to seasoned, startup to serial, and the people who help make them successful – investors, lawyers, bankers and other professionals. It will be a terrific opportunity to socialize and exchange ideas with others who share a passion for entrepreneurship.
The evening was full of fantastic business ideas put together by young entrepreneurs including Abner of Live Music Tonight Bangkok, Kaniz of Pylmo and Christy of Spark Nature. Each startup had 5 minutes to impress the crowd followed by a Q&A with the judging panel and audience. Our judges included Matt Maye of Reign Design and Pavel Laletin of General Partner of COO of who were all left impressed with these new projects.
