Hong Kong Airlines recently announced they will be partnering with bespoke e-commerce platform Epix to exclusively sell some of their popular in-flight items. 

Hong Kong Airlines will be partnering with e-commerce platform Epix Products for the sale of their in-flight items in bundles, including stocked trolleys, amenity kits, duvets, and wine. This is the perfect opportunity for aviation fans looking for uniquely Hong Kong-themed items to add to their personal collections.

The airline hopes to remind flying fans, now grounded indefinitely due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, of nostalgic memories of their frequent flying days. About this recent venture, Hong Kong Airlines Director of Service Delivery Chris Birt said “it is a win-win for both the carrier and its customers given that the pandemic continues to impact travel plans and is keeping most people’s feet firmly on the ground.”

“These items can be used or consumed at home or over a picnic with family and friends. We also hope that they will bring back fond memories of past travels with Hong Kong Airlines and build excitement as we all wait patiently to step onboard again soon” he added.

Bespoke online platform, Epix, will be the sole channel for these exclusive sales, which started on Friday, the 23rd of July, 2021. Items will be provided in sets to simulate a more cohesive experience, for example, a half-size trolley will be fully packed with tableware, cutlery, locally designed amenity kits, blanket & pillow, and 24 bottles of wine. A full-size trolley will include a greater quantity of the same items offered in the half-size trolley bundle with 36 bottles of wine.
